Good morning,..Good Morning......Good Morning to you!

Sounds like I am in a chipper mood huh? Nah...I still getting my morning coffee transfusion and apparently it has just hit my typing fingers. The rest of me is still asleep. Big tiring weekend for this chick a dee. We had a "Winter Gala" to attend for my DH's work. Apparently because the owners of his company are Hindu (I am assuming since they are from India), and do not celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, they wait well past any holiday and have a holiday party. I did not want to go but, oh well, it was free food. We got dressed up and my SIL and the mean BIL (inside joke) took the kids home with them (we were watching theirs for a short time just before that) and I even put on two of the most torturous pieces of clothing ever designed....hose and heels.
I have to say, I hate them! So off to the shindig we went. It was a nice enough time if you like that sort of thing but I have become more of a homebody lately. I was ready to go home before long. My DH did win a door prize and the food was good and my other BIL and SIL2B were there too so at least I had someone to talk to. The scientists and programmers and engineers that my dh work with are a little hard to talk to.
Yesterday, I went to my god-daughter's baby shower. I was a little torn about attending since she is 18 (just recently turned too) and is pregnant by a 43 year old pervert (IMO) who picked her up on the internet last year. It makes me sick to my stomach that she still is "with" him, but I love her and did not want her to think that I didn't still love her because of this.
Well that was my weekend. I hope yours was nice.
Have a blessed day.
Oh, sorry! I forgot to say what the door prize was. He won a piece of luggage. It was a nice carry-on bag. Nothing to write home about, LOL.
