Is it Monday? Again.

I feel like Garfield sometimes. Wake me when its over. Monday is not the best day of the week for this SAHM. and educator. This one, however, was pretty good. My DH was off from work due to the holiday and instead of taking a day off school like most kids, we jumped right in there and got it done quickly since daddy was here to occupy the little man. We got everything done and had time to spend with daddy. We went shopping and out to dinner to Red Robin. I don't know about you but we like Red Robin. My husband is a big fan of their Teriyaki Chicken sandwich, my son loves their grilled cheese and I have several things that I like there. The thing I like the most is not having to cook. It was a nice day. The kids are now in bed playing their video games that they don't realize are teaching them all kinds of stuff. My DS is playing a Finding Nemo game that teaches letters and my DD is playing a game called Pet Pals and it teaches her to follow directions and also reading skills. They just love these Leapster games and I like them too because I know that they are learning skills they need for school. They also turn off automatically if not used for more than 3 minutes which is really nice. Leap Pad has a real winner with these in my book. It also keeps them quiet at bedtime instead of riled up and jumping on the beds and fighting. My DH is watching the Democratic debate as if it was the most important thing in the world. I suppose it is pretty important but I just can't stand hearing people bicker for hours. I spend too much of my day listening to fighting children and don't want to spend "MY" time doing the same thing because just like with the kids, you are not going to get a straight answer anyway. Well, that was my day. I hope yours was great too.
